To thoroughly implement the national strategic deployment of "Vocational Education Going Global", actively respond to the Belt and Road Initiative, and deepen China-Africa cooperation in vocational education, the ECR International Skills Training Program for Ethiopian teachers in the field of additive manufacturing, organized and coordinated by ECR Academy, has concluded successfully.The completion ceremony of the program was held on January 30, 2026. Attendees included Hong Minggang, Deputy Party Secretary of Guangdong Songshan Polytechnic; Gidaye Asefa Kidane, Wodajo Yared Woiza and Gemachu Tesfaye Gurmessa from the Federal Technical and Vocational Training Institute of Ethiopia; as well as relevant personnel in charge and teaching faculty from the International Cooperation and Exchange Center and the School of Advanced Manufacturing of the polytechnic.
This 14-day training program covered the entire practical process of additive manufacturing. It is not only a significant dialogue between China and Ethiopia in the field of vocational education, but also a vivid practice of integrating industry and education, school-enterprise collaboration, and jointly cultivating international technical talents under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
