Make-IT Project: 2021 New Spring Online Summit of International Digital Talent

February 3rd, 2021, is a very common day in the Gregorian calendar, but it is the beginning of the spring of the traditional Chinese solar terms, and it is the day before the small spring festival of the Chinese lunar calendar. On this day, everything is revived and prosperous. On such an ordinary and special day, 2021 New Spring Online Summit of International Digital Talents Innovation Skills Competition was successfully held.
    
In 2020, with the active preparations of relevant organizations in the three countries of Germany, China and Russia, and relying on the cooperation framework of Berlin-Beijing-Moscow sister cities, the registration work of Make-IT project for each country of the Berlin International Digital Talent Innovation Skills Competition in Germany has been in full swing.  In China, there are already more than 60 teams registered for the competition.  Entering 2021, these teams are intensively preparing their works for competition, tiring the best win in the China Regional Trials held from April to June 2021 and be selected to the Berlin Finals. 
In order to strengthen the technical exchanges and discussions among all parties in the competition, encourage participants from all countries to learn from each other, and enhance the professional level and credibility of the expert committees of the competition, on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, Department of Berlin Senate for Integration, Labor and Social Services sincerely invites counterparts of Beijing, Moscow, as sister cities, and colleagues from education, business, and vocational education teachers and students gathered together on the cloud to discuss vocational education and digital development.

deliverd keynote speeches. They pointed out that the first International Digital Talent Innovation Skills Competition in 2021 has won the recognition of many professionals in the digital industry and vocational education field in three countries.  It pays great attention and has attracted outstanding young players from three countries to register for the competition. There are many outstanding innovative projects in the registered works, which reflect a high level of innovation.
In the subsequent road show session of the participating projects, the teams from Germany, China and Russia showed four works. The young faces and innovative ideas won unanimous praise from online audiences, and provided a wealthy base of discussion sessions for the following panel discuuion among education and digitization experts from three countries.

The following 7 panelist joined the discussion of the roadshow project, expressing their opinions and share their experiences: Mr. Ulrich Wiegand, Board Director, Chamber of Craft Berlin; Prof. Knut Hartenstein, Berlin University of Applied Sciences; Mr. Siegfried Vogelsang, Chairman of GFBM Akademie; Thomas Hoffmann Board Directorr, Foundation German-Russian Youth Exchange; Prof.  Fu, Hongsheng, Tsinghua University; Prof. Meng, Xianjun, Beijing Academy of Education Sciences; Ms. Olesia Gorkovaya, Director for International Development and Partnership relations, IT HUB Group, Moscow. The moderator was Mr. Frank Schröder, Make-IT Project Director, GFBM Akademie. All experts shared the best practices and experiences in digital development and talent training from different perspectives. The important influence brought by the first Berlin International Digital Talent Innovation Skills Competition in Germany in 2021 was prospected.

At the end of the summit, Ms. Yan Jun, board director of GFBM Akademie, presented the expert certificate of the first Berlin International Digital Talent Innovation Skills Competition to the guests. Liu Hui, Dean of Beijing Enterprise Education Research Institute of Education Technology, on behalf of the organizer of the national competition in China, issue the expert certificate to Professor Fu Hongsheng of Tsinghua University.  Professor Knut Hartenstein of Berlin University of Applied Sciences, Germany, spoke on behalf of all the experts of the competition, saying that he should give full play to professional standards in the competition, reflect professionalism, and ensure that the competition is fair and successful.

Finally, Mr. Siegfried Vogelsang, Chairman GFBM Akademie, made a concluding speech for the New Year Cloud Summit.  He pointed out that the New Year Summit of the competition is of milestone significance and provides more adequate preparations for the next step of the competition to be successfully held in the context of the global epidemic.  He wished the competition a complete success, and also wished colleagues from Germany, China and Russia a happy Chinese New Year, happiness and safety!
